Good breakfast. Location for my purpose was excellent.

Rooms weren't done at arrival, which was 7 p.m. We ate dinner at their restaurant while they were cleaned. They thought they were done, so perhaps communication among staff could be improved.

Breakfast selection good - though very carb heavy & limited warm options. Lots of parking. Good water pressure and heat in shower. Quiet location.

Requested rooms together months in advance - was not fulfilled. No sitting area in room-- very small. Window blinds not easy to operate. Dinner not at all worth the price but those who chose steak enjoyed their meal.

Very Good

The hotel was very conveniently located both for driving and taking the bus into Aix, and had plenty of free parking in a secure lot. The bathrooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. The cozy lighting and desk space were a bonus.

The rooms smelled of mold and the entry carpets were wet when we arrived. One of our rooms had a door alarm that went off frequently and the temperature was very warm even when we turned the heat off.

Nice hotel for a simple stay

It was a simple but nice hotel, the room was clean and the towels were changed daily. We didn’t go to the pool so i can’t say if it is a good facility there or not. Staff is nice and helpful

It is quite far from the Center of Aix but the bus stop is located conveniently right next to the hotel and it is around 15-20 min ride to get into the old town. The rooms were quite small but that was to be expected when sharing the room for 3 people.

Really french cuisine! Pool, comfortable.

There was a strange guy at the reception desk, who was not too cooperative with foregins /hungarian/, but it would be his work He didn't know any language, only french. And furthermore he was also angry, because we unfortunatly didn't speak french. This monsieur was unwilling didn't speak english at all.

Nice quiet hotel, easy access to Aix.

Nice hotel great breakfast, restaurant and food excellent.

Unfortunately got a member of staff on reception who was having a bad day, didn't speak English, couldn't find the booking even though I had my booking reference and had already paid. All other staff great I will put it down to a bad day.

It was so difficult to find. Not at all well signposted. Our satnav wasn’t working and it took over an hour to locate the hotel.

Typical Campanile. Little rough around the edges but basically clean and acceptable for the cost. Breakfast was excellent - one of the best at Campanile.

The fact that it is mediocre is both good and bad - you know what to expect and it generally delivers.

Beautiful city and a convenient place to stay when visiting Aix

Not used to driving on the continent so Hotel is located beside the autoroute which was great and then we took a bus from outside the hotel to get into town

They need to look at themselves and improve their restaurant -if you can call it that

The breakfast was good, it even had bacon and scrambled eggs on offer. the coffee was good, if you wanted you could make your own fresh orange juice. It was a good continental breakfast The room was a good size with a decent size bathroom all very clean. A comfortable bed . It made for a good stay.

We had a meal at what was there restaurant. Obviously from what was offered they had a problem that they did not want to share. There was no menu just a buffet of that mornings left-overs ( or it seemed) The fruit salad was discoloured with age. There was bits and pieces. There was a steak and knife and fork on the table, with only tea spoons as replacements. There was a loaf of bread that was used up and I had to go to the kitchen area to get it replaced and was came out 5 minutes later was a total reheat with a 1 inch crust that could break teeth. The kitchen person who replenished the food used his hands not any tongs which were at the plate for the customers to use. He moved other food around the plate , again with his hands. This may be France but surely that is not acceptable . The waitress tried her best This so called meal cost 16 Euros each and they were providing food that was shit. After we arrived we had asked for a whiskey, but they could only provide beer or wine. When we arrived you have to have a large security gate opened by pressing a buttons (or by them sighting through a camera. To get out in the morning you would expect the gate to operate on a sensor and open automatically, but no , you had to ask at reception to let you out.
